According to, by 2005 the Ipaq is a larger market "than the traditional PC market."

It has shipped 200,000 units and has a back order of 500,000. Has double the profit margin than a regular pc after you total up all the added accesories users buy (comes to about $1,000 spent on an Ipaq).

That may seem like a lot, put I think I spent that much in search for the perfect Prism/minstrel case. :-)
