As I may have mentioned, I do a lot of driving and make frequent trips between Oklahoma City and Independence, MO. I usually listen to drPodder while I'm driving as I am a talk-radio junkie and have several podcasts I listen to regularly.

But occasionally I get all "talked" out and am in the mood for some stimulating music to keep me alert, especially if I'm feeling a bit weary.

For better or worse, here is the playlist I have on my Pre for road trips, some of it pretty well known and some of it relatively obscure, and it easily gets me from Oklahoma City to a ways into the Kansas Turnpike:

On the Road Again (Willie Nelson)
Highway Star (Deep Purple)
Hitch a Ride (Boston)
Freeborn Man (The Outlaws)
Highway Song (Blackfoot)
Hollywood Nights (Bob Seger)
It's a Long Way There (Little River Band)
Life in the Fast Lane (The Eagles)
Life is a Highway (Rascal Flatts)
Radar Love (Golden Earring)
Rambling Man (Allman Brothers)
Rocking Down the Highway (Doobie Brothers)
Born to be Wild (Steppenwolf)
Roll On Down the Highway (Bachman-Turner Overdrive)
Roll with the Changes (REO Speedwagon)
Running on Empty (Jackson Browne)
Flirting With Disaster (Molly Hatchet)
