NVM awnsered my own question.
Anyone agree with me that laptops are kind of absolete. For the price of a really good laptop, I can get a desktop with better specs and a decent netbook/tablet/or inbetweenbook (my name for the product just in between netbooks and laptops, like one with a 13.3" screen).
Idk as a college student a laptop is pretty crucial for me. I love being able to take my computer with me around campus and to the library (cause I go there alllll the time;)). I think if anything the desktop and netbook are more obsolete than a laptop. The laptop is the most portable computer that is capable of real computing. Netbooks are slowly being killed by tablets, its nice to have the option of having a keyboard with you or not.

Didn't I win one more in there? I was thinking my 4th win went to the next poster... I just cant remember who got it...

Thanx for your input, also as a college student I see your point. i guess laptops merge benefits of a desktop and netbooks, when it comes to usefullness and portability respectively. I know most Netbooks are not capable of real computing(ie windows 7 starter 10.1" netbooks) but there are some really good netbooks or minilaptops around 13" screen with computing power.
My initial issue goes back to when I started college and i purchased and HP laptop (dv8000) I needed performance and wanted portability. So when the box came in it was about the size of a vcr. lol.
Its just when I cant find a laptop that meets both needs, Powerful specs and ultraportability.
One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. "Oh no," I said, "Disneyland burned down.
He cried and cried, but I think that deep down he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but decided to go home instead"
i was thinking about doing this, what say YOU?
