I was lost when I searched for threads started by ebag33 but then I found ebag333 with a different search.
I've seen the thread but as I mentioned I haven't been willing to put the computer or the pre on the line yet. I probably will.

And yes, if you make any error you could brick your Pre.
I heard the fix doesn't work on all Verizon phones.
If it does though, you'll be amazed.
I'm using Navit with local maps and recalc times are impressive (instant).

I think someone has to change them one at a time. I see that your little phones are gone and you have something that is showing the amount of gas in your car, or something along those lines. I wonder if that's a placeholder?
Eventually I will find out from Dieter what the end result is supposed to be, and I'll post that in the telethon thread.
