They're both still high priced, new from retailers. Used is a different story of course. But the new price needs to be chopped in half. There's no reason to still be asking $80-$100 for a device that will be obsolete by the end of the year. If they reduced the price of the now almost obsolete consoles, then do the same for all accessories for it!
Otherwise there's no reason to even look at the old consoles period, if you use wifi. Because you'll be getting a raw deal. Unless you really must have the old look and some don't like the glossy new one. But the hard drive size of the older ones is also less, unless you buy the $350 Elite special models. But when you add the wifi adapter, that's still over $450 because of tax and/or shipping. Which would you rather do, pay that much or get the new $300 one with all included and deal with the gloss?
