Just had a question for Handspring about the SMS program and started speaking to the Support team in the US, and they told me to talk to the guys in Australia.

Told them they I had the GPRS 1.1 upgrade, and surprise surprise, they informed me that my warranty was no longer valid. I of course told to the suck chops and look at there own website. Support article

I asked them where it said Australia was excluded? I said read your own website and notice that I am not with one of your providers in North America that are excluded. I asked them why the installation program said that Optus was a proper provider. Of course the answer to all this was I should know that Australia was not included.

I mean is this the sort of support you expect when paying for a premium device?
