    Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I figure some people may not be aware of this.

    While the "Service Connection Progress" window is being displayed, you can press the scroll down button and the window will also display what step in the connection process or the login script it is currently at. This may be useful to some of you trying to figure out where the connection process is failing.

    P.S. Should we have a "Treo Tips and Tricks" forum on VC so, people can post helpful hints, easter eggs, etc.?

    Thanks. That's DEFINITELY helpful. It appears the problem is in the "Negotiating" stage, and that that's when it times out, so I'm going to triple check that I don't have a login/password/script problem.
