    Sprint Adds Sirius Content to Vision Service

    Sprint is making select Sirius Satellite Radio content available to users of its PCS Vision service, the mobile phone provider said on Tuesday. Unlimited access will be offered for 20 commercial-free music channels and a channel that will feature artist interviews and live performances.

    "SIRIUS offers some of the best commercial-free music available, and Sprint is proud to be the first and only wireless carrier to offer this exceptional and unique programming," Jeff Hallock, vice president of Sprint said. Subscribing to the service will cost $6.95 USD per month.

    Right... Saw this announcement which prompted my initial post - After speaking with Sprint I've found that the Treo 650 is NOT considered a "MULITMEDIA" phone... so SprintTV and the Sirius Music features will not work. In the meantime I've installed MobiTV which works pretty well... and I'm going to setup a Shoutcast server for my Sirius Satellite broadcast like one of the other posters in this thread did...

It also includes channels dedicated to individual decades, such as '60s & '70s/Vinyl - top tracks from classic rock's formative years; '70s & '80s/Rewind - classic rock's 2nd generation, from the late '70s onward; '80s Glam/Hair Nation - vintage rock from the big hair '80s; '80s Alt/First Wave - alternative rock's pioneering artists and sounds; and Alt Rock/Alt Nation - the best alt-rock of the '90s and today.
