I'm hoping the Treo Ace will support Blackberry functionality, that is the software will be equipped and Sprint will offer Blackberry service. I saw somewhere that Sprint was planning on adding Blackberry to their lineup, so I'm hoping that I can then get it from Sprint via the Treo ace. That way I can eliminate my Blackberry all together. Our company only supports Blackberry Enterprise software. Any others out there with the same view?

The problem is that PalmOne has to port the Blackberry client software from the proprietary Blackberry OS to Palm. This is supposedly in the works, and won't depend on new hardware (Unless there is a minimum OS requirement).

PalmSource, not PalmOne, is the party responsible for all Blackberry compatability.
