    Hi All,

Received my GSM Treo 600 yesterday, have read a lot here and think I have my answers, but want to confirm before I go to T-Mobile and get my SIM card.

Basically, in order to get SMS's and email/internet, I have to sign up for a calling plan, buy the SMS package according to the # of SMS's I want for free, and sign up for unlimited T-Zones for $4.99 a month. I do not need to sign up for the T-Mobile Internet Unlimited for $19.99 a month, correct?

I am a current Verizon user, and thought I'd get a new TMo number for a week or so just to make sure I like the service, then move my Verizon number and cancel the 1st TMo number under the 14 day return policy. Is this a wise way to go?

    Thanks for your expert opinions.

First post! ...damn, newbie beat me to it. That's not fair.

Mike -- I'd just go ahead and sign up with T-Mobile. Seriously, how many options do you think you have? T-Mobile has the best data plans for GSM in the US, so it's sort of a no-brainer. ...But you could have other issues (coverage?), so your plan sounds good to me. Go for it, dude!
