Well shoot. That sucks. Thanks for letting us know that was the case. I was wondering why I could check to integrate the two in my settings, but it said I was ineligible.

This is what I got from them in response to a complaint:
Hello,
Thank you for contacting Sprint. I understand your concern regarding the
Google voice.
Sprint and Google announced a new integrated Google Voice experience
that allows Sprint customers to use their current Sprint wireless phone
number as their Google Voice number with the easiest set-up process in
the industry. To use the Google voice service there are some restriction
or Additional Requirements.
Your account type is a Public Sector-Government Individual account.
This type of account are not eligible for the Google voice service. For
your information the restricted account Types are as below:
1.Reseller = MVNOs
2.BOOST CDMA/iDEN AT/ST = B/D, I/C, I/Y, I/Z
3.Sprint iDEN = iDEN
4.Non-Sprint (competitor) - Any non-Sprint Customer
5.Corporate sub = Acct_Type - C
6.Government sub = Acct_Type - G
The only option is you can removed the discount on your account from the
B**** University Employee. So, that we can convert your account into
Individual account type which are eligible for this service. Please
reply us if you wish to change your account type by removing the
discount.
