anyone planning on buying a no-contract pre and using it on verizon? why would anyone want to do this? well, my work pays for verizon, and if i can use the pre on verizon, then i don't have to pay a cell phone bill. the extra money i would pay for a no-contract pre would be quickly offset by the lack of a monthly bill. yes, i know the pre is coming to verizon next year, but waiting is for suckas the first challenge would be to get the pre unlocked. i'm sure this is possible, one way or another. anyone else out there planning on trying this? thoughts?

Verizon will tell you "It's not a serial number in our database, we cannot activate this phone". It's the same line Sprint tells people when they ask to activate a Verizon phone on Sprint.
