Hi,

I have a good plan (not SERO plan, but it includes 600 minutes and
unlimited wireless internet) and I would like to keep my current plan.
I see no point in getting extra features if I don't use it.

If I purchase Pre at full retail price (I believe it would be $549.99),
would Sprint will let me keep the current plan instead of SE?
Would it be a problem when I activate the phone?

Has anyone tried this with other Sprint phones, such as Instinct, that
required a certain plan? Please share your thoughts.

We have have heard mixed answers to that question. The only thing they have said for sure is SERO is not accepted. Other than that, we have heard both ways. Only way to know for sure is to wait until it is released and try.

You could ask on Sprint.com, but like I said, different people say different things.

You need the same plans as the Instinct, meaning no it won't work.

That pretty much shoots down ANY chance. Black and white. Sorry.

And before you try to argue that your plan INCLUDES DATA... It's not a bundled plan.... it's a-la-carte unless you're on the new Everything type plans, so that excuse won't work either.

I guess that Sprint can just not sell it to you if you don't sign up for a coupling plan, maybe it will be possible later down the track when they are sold of contract?
