The Best Sprint Plan...

I have posted this before but I am still confused...

I am looking for the best possible Sprint plan and deals that I can get with what I need. Here is what I am talking about:

1. I want to upgrade to the Treo 700wx.

2. I want to sign on with a new plan since I am month to month now.

3. I have been a loyal Sprint customer for 4+ years. I already have 2 lines on my account. I am thinking I might be able to do their upgrade thing to get $150 towards my next phone. I have 2 phones though. Can I upgrade both and get $150 for each one?

4. I need at least 2000+ minutes/month shared between my 2 lines.

5. I need unlimited web/data service.

Please help me find the best deal. I heard that Sprint has the employee discount that people can get. I think they may have the $15/month unlimited web/data plan too. I wonder if I can get my $150 upgrade from my old phone to this new Treo plus get the discounts they offer to sign on with a 2 year plan plus get the employee discounts?

SERO won't allow you to share minutes, which you mentioned you have/want. Your best deal if you want to share minutes will be through retentions. Threaten to cancel based on a deal you have been offered by Cingular, Verizon, etc.

My plan is pretty damn good I think. Though they don't offer it anymore you can try.

that sounds like a good deal if they will give me $150 off of each new phone. I wonder if they will take $150 off for upgrading AND $150 off for the new 2 year contract...

Mine's similar, but I have only 2500 minutes. Comes in each month just under $100, incl. all taxes. Works for us, because we rarely make it near 2500.

you need to just call retentions since you are a good customer

Yes. This is how I extracted my plan from them. Great point. Be VERY FIRM. Have your story down. "I saw this plan on Verizon that offers X, Y, Z, and I'm thinking of switching because my wife likes the Chocolate phone, and Sprint doesn't offer that, and I want to make sure I can keep my telephone number when I change. Also, Verizon is what my company phone is, and I've found the service far more reliable, so . . ."

They jumped through hoops when I said something similar (substituting the "Razor" which was the phone du jour at the time.).

It's also worth noting that they take notes. So know what you're going to say, and then stay consistent on follow-up calls, and you'll get where you want to faster. But in general, this is exactly right. If you're not making any progress with retentions, nicely say you'll think about things, have to discuss w/ your signif. other, etc. Hang up, and call right back. There are sympathetic ears who will give you most of what you want.

Then make damn sure you actually get it. Have them make a notation of EVERYTHING in your file. And check your statements like a hawk. Sprint is notorious for forgetting to include things they promised.

5pm nights? What's next, 4pm? 5pm nights EST is still like 2pm PST... geez.

I've been w/Sprint about 1 year with a 650. Have been paying $46 total (including taxes) for:

Last night retentions told me for signing a new 2 year agreement, after 29% discount is would run me $29/mon + taxes for the following:

unlimited Vision data
free Sprint to Sprint

Do you all think that's a good deal?
