LG UK 6500 - UPDATE to 5.30.10 forces the Menu Pop-up to be toggled ON. To Change:
Press and hold the Settings wheel until you see the rotating color circle
Select GENERAL
Scroll down and select HOME SETTINGS
Toggle OFF "Home Auto Launch" (and toggle off "Home Promotion").
I did not have auto-update on. So the Home Auto Launch only appeared after I updated to 5.30.10
