I'm glad they're not ludicrous prices, but they aren't going to be flying off the shelves at $2,000 for a TV that's about average in size for the American market.

I have no idea what a 55" 3D HD LED ETC goes for, so I'm pretty clueless.
..... actually, i did just check my email a while ago, and I had an ad for a 60" LG from last year's run, for $1500.
... edit: just got an ad for a 46" Sony for $800, looks like it's not 3D and is refurb. As far as "smart" features go, it includes DLNA media client, and that's about it.
From a price list of a South American wholesaler importer Prices for dealers and retail. Before taxes.-
LG Smart TV 3D 47inch $1.350.- Retail $1.500.- (46 inch) Samsung $1.200.-Retail$ 1.400.-
LG Smart TV ·3D 55inch $2.000.- Retail $2.200.- Samsung $2.700.- Retail $2.970.-
Prices in Korea are higher than in America Why? I don`t know. Maybe different kind of costs and taxes increase prices there.
