I had to open a friends TP due to a no sound issue. It turned out to be the plastic speaker socket on the board was ever so slightly warped on one side causing it to wiggle out. I used some much stronger tape and it's not going anywhere.

However it came on accidentally and I did not have the screen fully seated and it's stuck at the Moboot screen waiting for a home button press. Do I have to wait for the battery to fully discharge or is it safe to reseat the screen and proceed?

I hate opening these things, especially that lower right corner clip, but I didn't break any!
