I am sure this has been covered in 100 different threads by now but wanted to get opinions also. I have 3 HP touchpads and would like to put Android on 2 of them for my kids. I will always keep mine WebOS, as I will never lose hope, but would like to be able to put Android games on the other two for my kids to play with.

So here is my question in 2 parts:

1) What would the best and most stable version be to drop on the touchpad?

2) Do you have a link to the best step by step instructions to do so?

I do not want to end up bricking these and making them unusable.

Plenty of choices but all of them have some limitations, go with the instructions you feel comfortable with.

Another very good resource would be the XDA forums - Lots of help available from them as they are Android Devs. Try looking [ROM] [NIGHTLY] [JB] [4.2.2] CyanogenMod 10.1 nightlies - xda-developers which I am dual booting on my 'stable' TP - I am also trying out Android 4.3 on my spare TP.
