I've gone through some of the threads regarding this, but to no avail. There were recommendations to download TouchPlayer but after downloading and (successful) installation, it does not appear in the Menu at all. I was wondering if there are other alternatives for the above functions? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you restarted Luna or the whole device after installation, as sometimes for me apps are showingn up after restart. Might be the same with you and TouchPlayer.
