I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say yes, it's the end....via HP. There is always eBay, but having already bought 2, I won't be buying any more.
Due to the cancellation of the penny, I no longer give 2¢ about anything. I may however, give a nickel

Ironic isn't it!
SO.. 'Meg' is just gonna sell the 100,000 Touchpads on 'Ebay'.. possibly using her old contacts there, instead??
What about the people who have been hanging to buy one, who don't have two already.. and are awaiting fulfillment of their back-order from HP?

At some point you have to give up hope to get it at the super-low firesale price.
Sure I would have liked to get my Pre3 (and the other one for my GF) for 89 at firesale - but that was gone so quickly that even though I was waiting for it I had no chance to order one.
So I went to ebay and got them there.
The ebay prices are still cheap. So you just have to ask yourself whether the going price on ebay is an acceptable price for the product for you.
I wasn't able to find that exact image on the store page, all I saw was:
I only see the "HP IS OUT OF TOUCHPAD INVENTORY AND WILL NO LONGER SELL
TOUCHPADS"graphics when I'm logged into my EPP account(via my employer).
It's not there when log into my other EPP account(EDU acct, via my college alumni EDU email)

Personally, I am OK with one firesale 32Gb.. I was thinking of other people!

When it comes to Touchpads, HP is like my psycho ex-girlfriend
who refused to allow me to break up with her. After repeated
attempts to dump her, she refused. Ended up making her my
ex-wife.

That's interesting because 200K were supposed to be sold at the end of October.
Wonder if they need those to replace broken ones?
Nonetheless, the "fire sale" pricing to me was a bit crazy. . . but the low prices may have been due to know issues with the TouchPads. I personally think they would have sold a tone at $200 & $250. . . . we may never know the real reasoning behind all this insanity.
I finally got my shipment of two TouchPads from the HP small business unit. I bet they are about done processing all those firesale orders. We have heard that "late October" there would be more available. But I'm guessing those are all pretty much spoken for.
