On the lower right hand side of a Touchpad (portrait) there is a push-to-pop tab; a bit like a SIM card tray before you slide it out but once out it seems to have no purpose at all. All I can think of is perhaps a handle to tug the tablet out of a tight sleeve... but that seems a bit of a thin chance.

Does anyone know what it ACTUALLY is?

its a SIM card tray placeholder for a future touchpad version which wouldve had 3G or 4G

it has a little plastic tray that slides out and has your serial information of the touchpad on it.
