I am a Palm guy from way back, and will most likely stick with my current Palm (HP can go suck a hind ----, for what its worth) Pre + on Verizon. Would love a TouchPad, but being unemployed has its drawbacks. I like to hear any input on what all those retailers are going to do with the returned units...they can't sell them as new...so do you think they will sell them for lower than $99/149? Or just put them in the dumpster?
I would imagine they would go back to HP, possibly to be recycled as warranty refurb/replacement units in the future.
They will probably be re-sold as refurbished units on Woot, and sold even cheaper than the current fire sale price.
And many of these I suspect come with the lovely cracked housings around the speakers.
