    so ive been addicted to the past couple of days. Thats when I noticed it, a dead pixel.

    while I understand this is a manufacturing defect and a complete luck of the draw, my question is will best buy replace the device hassle free? Or is this something I need to go to HP about?

    Return it to Best Buy, I had similar problems on my TouchPad and was able to exchange it twice at Best Buy, no problems (1st one had stuck pixels, 2nd had dead pixels I had terrible luck!).

    Most computer manufacturers have stricter policies about warranty service/exchanges for dead pixels so going through HP might be more hassle.
