- Marketing, as evidenced by Apple, Motorola/Verizon (Droid), and Beats Audio, works to drive sales regardless of the superiority of the object/service being sold
- Video out would work better wirelessly, be it WiDi or Airplay (wasnt Apple open to licensing that tech?) or DLNA, and I wouldnt want to have a tablet tethered to my tv 8ft-10ft away and the main way of controlling it would be touch.
- Netflix is probably on one of the many other devices that a tablet buyer already has, so I am confused why its a big deal at the home. Yes, it would be nice to play it on the go, but I am praying that browser compatibility will be the way that they implement Netflix.
- Sony won the war two-fold: The beat HD-DVD in hardware sales due to the PS3 and the late arrival of the Xbox add-on AND they ponied up the dough to make it happen
The netflix website is built upon silverlight which there is no mobile plug in for.
