In Bangkok, when you soft reset the Treo 600, it cannot connect to the AIS provider anymore. And you have to enter a code #*900# in the phone to force it to connect to the 900MHZ frequency of the AIS provider.

However, switching on and off the wireless device connects to network ok though and using the phone outside Bangkok connects ok even with a soft reset.

But within Bangkok, it cannot connect after soft reset unless using the #*900# code.

Does anyone have any idea how to solve this problem? Something like autodial the #*900# after soft reset? Or a utility program to fix the frequency of the network to search for?

The local AIS doesn't know, neither the local importer of the devices.
