    The backlight of my Treo 270 died last week. Does anybody on this forum have experience with getting a broken Treo replaced in France or Europe in general?

    I'm just worried that this local support company is going to tell me that it's not their problem and I will have to pay to get it repaired, whereas in the US everybody seems to get a new one sent almost automatically.

    speak to the ppl where you got it they may replace it

    I sent it to the service company here in France that handles Handspring report. Today I received a brand new 270.

    Perfect timing, because I couldn't wait any longer to install the new Snappermail version :-)
