Venues take 15 minutes or more to load!

Just downloaded the new FourSquare app and now it takes FOREVER to load venues. Stuck on splash screen for more than 15 minutes. I see in reviews in app store that many others are having the same problem. Can I go back to the previous version?

Same here, except that my venues are NOT loading at all. I'd just updated yesterday and all were fine. In today's update, however, I can't get any of my venues up.

Foursquare changed something in their API. The developer already submitted an update to HP this morning.
