People keep coming up with issues and problems with the Treos. I think setting a proper community bug database would make it easy to organize and discuss them. It would show PalmOne that the community is serious about the problems, and also serious about giving them as much info is necessary to help them track down and fix them. The forums have a wealth of information for people who can take the time to track it down, but there's no coherence. A tool like bugzilla is much better for this.

Plus, since there is no official channel for reporting bugs, it would make us, as users, feel better about having someplace to go. I have a hunch if this existed and were well maintained, engineers from Palm would check it out, even if they never admit it in public.

Who else thinks this might be a good idea? Anyone from Treocentral interested?
