Ok so reading along through the posts, I've noticed several times that people can put a link in their text without actually being a URL as you read it. Can someone give a little insight as to how that's done please? Thanks

I did see the little icon with the world and link and I tried myself to make a link, with say the word link above, but that doesn't seem to be what I'm looking for.

So you want a hyperlink that doesn't actually link to anything? Perhaps you could clarify?

I just meant for example, once in awhile you see a post and there may be a word that is green, that links to another page, without seeing an actual URL. How do you make those?

All you have to do is put the standard BBCode URL tags around the word(s) you want to link.

    Example:

    Code:
     Click [ url=http://www.google.com]HERE[/url] for a good time!
When done it'll look like this: Click HERE for a good time!

EDIT: You must delete the space between the "[" and "url" for some reason the code tags aren't completely working. :\

    [ url=website url]word here [ /url]

Take out the spaces in front of url and /url

The character Tom Cullen, throughout the book, spells everything M O O N. Means nothing to this thread, but sledge's S-M-R-T post made me think of it.
