As a newbie, I'm wondering if it's like Coke and Pepsi. For me, Treonauts just seemed kind of ghetto.

Dude, we're all addicts here and are probably registered on most Treo sites. But honestly, there's no place like being home at Treocentral...

Come on now, don't you believe everything you read on the internet?

"treo|central - Your # 1 resource for the Treo smartphone"
If they it, it's gotta be true...right?

The blog aspects of Treonauts has always annoyed me. Makes everything seem kinda unstructured/disorganized.

Then again, the recent influx of newbies here at TC with a "I ain't searchin' and you can't make me" attitude, combined with a few mods who are heavy-handed toward everyone except the above-mentioned newbies, makes me wonder about the future environment here.

I'll wait and see how things pan out here before giving my final answer.

Oh, and IMHO, this should be in the treocentral.com forum.
... Als sie mich holten, gab es keinen mehr, der protestieren konnte.
... Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak out.

I visit them all, but always come back here. When I first got my Treo I visited them all in a regular routine, but when I needed to look for info I always came back to TC. Now this is my forum of choice and I check the others when a hot topic comes up and I am looking for more input.

They are 2(two) different things. Treonauts is a personal blog, Treocentral is a forum. The correct question would have been www.mytreo.net or www.treocentral.com .

    Oh, BTW Welcome to TC.

If you follow back every rumor, announcement, workaround or whatever from whereever you see it, if you follow it back, it always seems to have started here. I sewe things on one site which says "from engadget" and ya go to engadget and it says from someplace else and then ya go there and it says, "from a thread on Treo Central"

In that case, it is true. The stats for TC readership are nothing less than mind-boggling. It literally dwarfs all its competition. The 900 pound gorilla.

Do NOT send email to harv at treocentral dot com - it will never reach me.. forwarding from that address to my real address was hijacked in early 2008, and I can't fix it.. send me a private message instead or email me directly at my RR address..

The other thing about TC is that it is easy to read on the Treo. Go figure.

I am both. I have tried all the sites that exist and I always come back to Treocentral for tricks, tips, and helps. I like treonauts because of the writing and seeing what someone else is doing. I mean, they are not coke and pepsi, they are two seperate things. Treonauts is a blog, it is the opinion and thoughts of one guy about Treo's. This is a forum. So I use them both.

You can help up and yourself by reporting such threads, the mods are volunteers and believe it or not do have a life so we can't be everywhere all the time..
