I'll never forget it...shortly after 9/11 the economy tanked and i lost my job of 18 years managing a golf store...now I work for a living and hate every minute of it!
If "If's" and "But's" were candy and nuts we'd all have a Merry Christmas!

I will never forget! I had a job interview that morning and my sister woke me up and informed me something had happened at the World Trade Centre. From the 24th floor of my apartment, we watched both towers fall in complete horror. The familiar skyline was gone in the blink of an eye. It was like a bad nightmare. All those lives gone. Oh, I will never forget.

Was what happened to the towers at risk of being forgotten?

Don't forget Flight 93. There is no video to watch.

    I'm sorry,

Let's keep this thread as a respectful memorial - not a place to give our opinions on the validity of the concern.

I understand your reason for moving it, and am not arguing with it.

I just want to make it clear that I have the highest amount of respect for 9/11 memorials, the people who died, and the people who helped during the time.

I just wanted to point other deaths we could avoid, but living in Canada, I forgot to look a the date before posting, and for that I want to apologize. I wouldn't of posted it knowing the date, and have deleted my post.

    Your fine.
Your post is still open for discussion in the other forum.
We'd just prefer to keep this thread for sharing pics and memorialize 9/11.
Side topics can be continued in the thread linked.

    Thanks for your understanding.
    Sincerely,
    Berd

Russia’s 9/11 Memorial Gift to the USA: Tear of Grief
10-story high sculpture given to the US by the Russian government. Located at the Peninsula at Bayonne Harbor as a memorial to those that died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The large polished titanium teardrop to represent the tears in Moscow shed for the 9/11 victims. A constant flowing of water which causes the sculpture to appear to weep.
