There will be some differences between the different carriers and models so please post your carrier and model.
webOS Updates
The developers tell us that you may not need to remove the new AUPT patches before the update but you still need to remove any themes and you MUST REMOVE ANY OVERCLOCK PATCHES
Remove all Patches and Themes - From
Getting Started: WebOS Quick Install:
1.
Remove themes. Click
Tools →
Themer →
Revert to Default
2.
Remove all patches. Click
Tools →
Tweaks →
Run EPR →
Luna Restart
Remove all Patches and Themes - From
Getting Started: Preware:
1.
Remove themes. Tap
Installed Packages →
Theme → Tap your theme → Remove →
OK →
OK
2.
Remove all patches. Tap
List of Everything then type "emergency" and tap
Emergency Patch Recovery →
Install
3.
Restart your phone. Press these buttons at the same time: Orange-Sym-R
Please post only specific issues you have had with the new webOS in this thread including details about when the problem occured, what you were doing, etc.

The Luna-Restarts aren't gone - had two of them until now. I still think they are in a way connected to preware, because if I don't use preware I'm not having any restarts.

No Luna restarts for me yet. They went away after the last update to ipkgservice and Preware with 1.4.
My only issue is AUPT not seeming to work with 1.4.1 just yet!

It's not preware on my Pre anyways, 34 patches and no Luna restarts.

darn it one of my phones started dowlding and unpacking before I could get to it. there was like two tweaks left on now they are gone. Will this hurt me in anyway or my phone causewhenmy phone is hurting I'm hurting. Oh and I can't get to my mac till the am

Same error here.
Downloaded 1.4.1.1 on a Sprint Palm Pre.
Of the 7 patches I had installed, only the Facebook Spoof Patch survived. Preware lists them as being installed, but are nowhere to be found.

m.yahoo.com used to be awesome.
very very plain for me right now. all images, formatting, etc gone. just barebones search box, and links to other services.
I'm assuming this is a yahoo issue?

Not even sure if this is a real problem, but yahoo mail's formatting looks kind of funny in the web browser, well at least on my phone. Can someone else check.
Nevermind, I guess someone else is having the same results.

I'm not, haven't installed it yet cause I'm waiting to see if it will work with my 800 patch, I was talking about yous guys having issues already lol
When I press the power button, the unlock button comes up but no clock/background - basically I see my cards.
I had that problem back in 1.3.5.1 and was eliminated in 1.4. Restarting phone to see if it is fixed.

these are placeholders for when the patches are updated to be 1.4.1 compatible. Just wait they will be bac soon.
