It automatically rebooted for me also after the installation completed. Huge difference between 500 & 800MHz!! THANK YOU for all the hard work!!!!!!!

Agreed mine auto rebooted and now Q/I will not connect with the Pre keeps asking for me to plug it in

i'm running 720

My QI also did not reconnect right away... Just closed it out and opened again. Worked fine after that

to fix that, either reboot your computer or go StartMenu->Run...->"services.msc"

Then look for "Palm Novacom", right click, and select "restart"

How exactly do I check this?

I shut it down and started it up but doesn't seem any faster to me..?

wow, I dont have to slow my roll anymore... GOOGLE MAPS IS FINALLY SNAPPY!

overall AMAZING experience now! webOS WILL live on as long as the next phone has 1Ghz. scrolling is like butter without anymore hickups!

I just moved ports and it forced it to restart lol

I need help...my 600MHz patch is not uninstalling!!!....when i type: sh /var/home/root/600MHz_OSIndependentpatch.sh uninstall, it just says: can't open var/home/root/600MHz_OSIndependentpatch

Please help!

Hmm, it appeared to do a full restart, not a luna restart, and the cpuinfo showed the correct info after that as well, but just to be safe I'll trust that you know more than I do and do a power off / on in addition anyway.
