GPS turn by turn Nav App

Has anyone heard of a Navigation (turn by turn) App being developed for the Palm Pre. I don't want to pay VZ for their Navigator? I would rather pay Tom Tom or Garmin the one time fee.

I asked a similar question previously...I had Garmin Mobile XT for my Centro (still have it). I would like something similar for my Pre OR be able to install the Centro version on my Pre.

The Mobile XT was $99. Paying $10/month for VZ's app will cost $240 over two years.
