Default Amazon MP3 issues?

Does anyone know how to re-download MP3s that have been paid for but accidentally deleted? I tried going back to Amazon MP3 but it would only note that those songs had been downloaded, not how to download them again.

As best I know, you can't download but once. You could try emailing Amazon but they are pretty upfront about making a backup copy for safety due to the one-time only download policy. You may be SOL. Sorry.

Good news! All I had to do was log into regular Amazon.com and find Recent Orders, find the titles I'd downloaded, then contact Amazon Customer Service and explain that these had been deleted accidentally. I just received an automated email noting that I was cleared to download the songs again, but to my computer hard drive and from there I could install them on my phone. A little more work, but at least I don't have to pay for the songs again. Score one for Amazon!

Here's the text, for other Pre users who end up with lost MP3 downloads.

Hello,

I'm sorry there was a problem downloading songs.

I've restored your access to it so you can try the download again from Your Media Library on Amazon.com

http://www.amazon.com/library

I request you to download the mp3 to your computer and then copy to your phone.

Your MP3 download may not be successful if your browser settings are not configured properly. You will need to enable your browser to accept cookies and allow pop-up windows from Amazon.com. Firewall and virus programs may also prevent successful download of your Amazon MP3 Music files.

Before attempting another download, please visit the Help page below for tips on how to configure your system to allow downloads from Amazon.com:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/custom...deId=200197240

If you used the Amazon MP3 Downloader, the default directory to which your files are saved is named "Amazon MP3." Please search your computer for that folder, and you should be able to locate the music you downloaded. For Windows users, this folder is typically within your "My Music" folder. For Mac users, this folder is typically within your "Music" folder.

For detailed instructions outlining how to redownload MP3 tracks, please consult our support page below:

If you still aren't able to download the track, please write back to us using the following link:

We'll be happy to help you troubleshoot further
