Touchstone Delaying Notifications

I have an odd problem when using my touchstone. It just popped up in the last few weeks, though was definitely prior to 1.3.1. Sometimes, when I put the phone on the touchstone, it will beep and I'll get the standard clock display (btw, don't get me started on that annoying beep that wakes up my wife every time I set the phone down at night - Palm, PLEASE give us the ability to change/mute sounds for every application individually!!!).

In the morning, my touchstone will show no messages of any kind. Eventually, when I take the phone off the touchstone, after a few seconds, I'll get a slew of messages, like: charging, 8 new emails, 2 text messages, all at once. Its like the touchstone disables these alerts while it is charging.

I should say that sometimes it works fine and other times it exhibits this weird behavior. I believe my Pre is on the touchstone securely each time I set it down.

Anyone experience similar or have any ideas?

Any one have any ideas? It happened again this morning. I use my Pre as my alarm clock and I overslept since the alarm didn't go off until I took it off the touchstone. I noticed this time that the top right indicators (signal strength, network, etc.) were sort of flickering right after I took it off the touchstone and before the alarm (and email notifications) popped up. Any help is appreciated.

This exact same thing happens to me occasionally, I'll put the phone on the touchstone, charge it for a few hours, and when I take it off the touchstone it gives me a bunch of notifications for missed calls and texts and such which occurred while it was charging. It's quite annoying and could be potentially problematic if I miss an important text or call
