Why there is no SIP application yet :(

hi all,

i like to play with all phones and played with Iphone and android (G1) to the max and now my palm pre is on its way (yahooooo) , so i started preparing to attack the device right it launches in my hand but got very disappointed to see that no SIP capable software available yet for this awesome device which is almost a must have app ( for me atleast) , i rely on SIP for almost 95 % of my calls as i have lot of ISD calls to make and now i am in big confusion about how to use this little monster without a SIP ....

Unfortunately, there are no APIs to use the microphone in the current SDK. I'd say it'll be here in about 5-10 weeks... but that's not a guarantee, and I don't work for Palm.

The only "sip" application we have are built around Google Voice, which can be used with Gizmo5. Other than that, we'll just have to wait.

so sad ...... i dont think we can use google voice outside of US ...
