Seems to be when the phone shuts down (as in for a reboot).

Yeah. Not like I had a choice. :-)

Hrm, well I had 1.2.1 (obviously) with PmModemFactory and TilIpcTest copied over from the 1.0.3 rom. They worked fine. Now 1.3.1 they are broken. They return errors. Can anyone confirm this?

Also, where is my proxy support!

I can't get Yahoo IM working, though I did at one point have an early version of the messaging plugins patch installed, so I think that probably has something to do with it.

Roam only in the device menu cleared if you want to use that instead.

Big download. Takes a long time to download then validate then install. Before you elect to install the update, you are notified that the install will take about 15 minutes. I sure it hope it doesn't create any new problems like interfering with any apps I already have installed. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Default Also can't find update

My phone also can't find update. I wonder if I did something that made it that way.

So far, I'm finding the UI to actually be a bit slower, or at best no faster. There's still the annoying lag when first scrolling in the launcher, and perhaps more so intermittently. Apps aren't opening any faster.

The Photos app might be a bit faster, particularly opening a picture after taking it.

I'm thinking (hoping?) that perhaps Palm didn't want to make too many changes when perhaps the most important aspect of this update is to bring all ofthe various devices and carriers up to the same level.

I can't get yahoo working either. I also had the messaging patch installed, but I removed it before updating.
