Photo app seems a bit faster. Still takes 1-2 seconds to draw the "clear" version as you flip to a photo, which I think is a bit quicker, and viewing collections seems quicker.

i guess i might of jumped the gun when assuming my pre stopped responding after 20min.. but i dunno...

Not sure what you are talking about with the slow loads of apps, mine is uber quick and no lag.

Agreed on the no video camera.

Just finished 1.2 download. At my home office I have always switched from Ev to 1x to Roam because of a weak Sprint signal. Looks like the roaming priorities are different now as I am locked in on roaming a Verizon tower. 5 bars...very little battery drain...WOOHOO! At least from my experience this will make a huge difference in battery life.

You can copy a photo from the internet now, so that is true.

So just to make sure I understand the initial post, homebrew apps are NOT considered tweaks? So if all I have done is installed homebrew apps (via filecoaster) I shouldn't have to do anything before I upgrade to 1.2?

**sigh**

this update is useless.

minor speed update, we can now pay for non-existent apps (unless you've downloaded "too many"), included code (LED notifications) are still needlessly commented out, and requested tweaks already made by the homebrew community are still not included (Trash All, landscape in e-mail, etc.)

not happy, Palm. i'm giving it till Christmas.

Supposedly if you run the mytether installer again itll redownload the newer version. I had it installed on the leaked 1.2, but never checked to see if it acually worked....

Anyone else seeing this?
Yes. When I first opened updates it said asked if I would like to update to 1.2 and I said yes. The download failed and said could not connect. Now it says my phone is up to date and I am still running 1.1
