After the update, the Calendar loads a lot quicker when switching months and days. It's actually usable now!

I'm at 15 open apps with no "too many cards" alert! That's inlcuding two web pages, pdf viewer, the app catalog, email, games, photos, camera, music library and Google maps!

not a major change, but if you tap to create a new task it goes directly to the new task in the list view instead of openning a whole new dialod to create the new task
I haven't seen this posted, if it has been my bad. When copying a notification appears letting you know that you've copied something...

I can save PDF's from the web!!!
Selecting editable text with Shift+drag selects entire words only.. can't select parts of words. Fine by me. Also seems to follow where you're dragging your finger more accurately. Shift+tapping a word selects that whole word. Much improved.
Still, for web pages, etc. I'm not seeing how you can select anything other than whole paragraphs, tho. Anyone figured this one out?
Heres a minor change. When you go to device info and do a reset....before the device actually resets...."resetting...." pops up in the notification area for a sec.

They fixed the random "cannot find application" error when opening certain word files

AGREED!! And you can also see your appointments in the month and weekly view, instead of just the daily view as before YAY!

I can now log on to MS office sharepoint sites, which is a GREAT step forward. Is that under the heading of generic "security updates" or what?

I don't know if this has already been covered here or was in 1.1, but type-to-search in the memos app works. It also seems to work in tasks, but not in a meaningful way.

Yeah I Noticed that too, Did you read the agreement "Palm App Catalog End-User Terms & Conditions"? Esp. the part that says that palm has the right to "add, remove, disable access to, block, or modify remotely..." any app.
Kind of makes you wonder how save the homebrew apps are.

I know not everyone seemed to have this problem, but email notifications go away when i swipe them away. I don't have to swipe them away multiple times.
Also email icon still appears at the bottom of the screen when opening a new email....was really hoping that would get fixed with 1.2.
The two above issues were only there for me in 1.1. At least one is now fixed in 1.2.

I've always been able to see my calendar entries in the Weekly view, but I have NEVER seen anything on the Monthly view...
Please explain more cause I don't see anything on my Monthly view even after the 1.2 update.
EDIT: Correction... I can see "hourly" entries as a grayed-out portion in the block corresponding to the day, but I don''s see "all day" entries at all...

Anyone tried this? No more tapping the tiny text in the top corners to get the drop-down menus!
That's right. No worrying about trying to hit that little area for connections.

It's been mentioned already, but I thought I'd add some more specifics to "snappier":
Animations, in general, are much smoother--it's not clear that they're faster, but the frame rate is much improved. You can really see it when you go in and out of card view. It's a dramatic difference. Zoom on the browser now animates instead of snapping right to it, which really helps you see what's happening. Looks much nicer.
Okay here are some things I found. First of all when you go to 'Help' then choose 'Buy Applications' it has instructions. Something I noticed in the instructions is that it tells you to first check if you have enough space for new applications. To do this it says to go to the Device info application and under 'phone' look for where it says 'available' for me it says 5.2 GB there refering to the entirety of the on board storage capacity. Does this mean no more limit on applications? Before 1.2 I got the message saying to remove apps every time new apps came out. I just installed like 15 applications to try to see if I get it again and so far I have not. Has anyone else?
Sorry to post a second time but I also wrote down all the numbers in device info. There differences are as follows:
Clock changed from 1.1 to 1.2
Help changed from 1.0.21 to 1.2
Nascar changed from 1.14 to 1.15
NFL from 1.25 to 1.26
Phone changed from 1.1 to 1.2
Navigation 2.1.0.18 to 2.1.0.22
I did not see this mentioned... When coping text it now brings up a notification.
