Default Is there a way to permanently save an email?

I would like to save some important emails permanently on my pre for removal past the 7 days I have set for retrieval. I have airline and rental car emails I would like to have handy. The emails past 7 days are getting knocked off. Is this possible?

First of, dont delete anything off your Pre then....or double check before you delete.

But here is a fix...make your trashbox become an archive box on your Pre.

It appears the mail moved to the trash folder is staying on the phone. One account is set to retrieve 3 days and an email in the trash folder is 4 days old. Now I just have to remember to move the ones I want to the trash!

the trash is the perfect place to store important items.

why do you have your email sync only the past few days? you do have an 'all' option. too much email? this is an ugly solution - but you can set up a new email account for important emails that syncs with your Pre and then forward your email to that and set it to sync all.

For now I will use the trash to save important email. It would be nice, though, to be able to create a new folder to move them into.

Any way to create new folders for email?
