Okay, Strangest thing... Last night I went thru and swiped away (deleted) all of my txt message conversations... well, it says that it is empty now but it's really not. when my wife texts me it doesn't show up in there but if i pull up her name and click on the (SMS) it pulls up our whole conversation from like forever but if i actually bring up my txt msgs. it doesn't show anything being in there... the biggest reason this blows is because if i accidently swipe away a notification and didn't see who it's from it doesn't show up in my text msgs and i'm completely clueless as to who sent a txt... PLEASE HELP

I have a text stream from my girlfriend flowing since the day I got the phone. I can delete anybody else's text stream, but hers does not show up. Only when I go through Contact->SMS do I see the text stream. How can I get rid of this? It has to be taking up space. Plus I'm the type that likes to clean up his files.

unlink the profile of the person that has the mystery thread. It will appear, go back to contacts, and relink the profile. This is the only fix as of now unless you want to do a hard reset.
this is a known issue, a bunch of threads open on this already |

I had this problem about a month or two ago. I had to do a partial reset and then the problem went away. This is a known bug in the OS.
