I was wondering if someone would put together a master list of where all images are located.
I know it would take a lot to put it together but than it would save everyone else the trouble of searching through pages of posts. I am just starting to work on these and figured maybe someone who has made a few themes might already have a master list put together. I am especially interested in the bluetooth icons, for the top row and battery status Last edited by Rkolodz1; 09/07/2009 at 11:24 AM. Reason: adding more |

I have read a lot about the WebOS 1.2 update, and I wanted to ask a group of people who ACTUALLY modded the signal, WIFI, EV, 1X, etc.
Will you be changing everythign back to normal before the update? I would hate to go back and change each color code / icon change I made....might take some time. Anyone thought about this yet. Thanks! JB |

Before an update, it is recommended to undo any tweaks you have made to the code on you phone. It's pretty much just a safety precaution. As far as the custom images we have put on our Pre's, they should be perfectly fine to keep.
Tweaks like changing carrier string and such, should be changed back just to be safe. It's most likely not going to harm anything if you try to update with modded files on your Pre. If something does go wrong, there is always the WebOSDoctor. |

Once I get home tonight, I'll start working on a master list. It shouldn't take too long at all... I'm also going to start working on some virtual keyboard themes.
About the top bar icons, they are all located in /usr/lib/luna/system/luna-systemui/images/ |

BTW on your site make it so when people click on your advertisement (tried to make ya some money) that they open a new window rather than leaving your site.

I updated to 1.2 without removing the pics. It appears that the update automatically replaces all teh icons with the original ones. I'm going back through and replacing everything (hope I can remember where they all go!)

I'm going to take screen shots of my windows and park it on desktop, before the update comes and whipe it all away. |

I had some fun a couple of days ago modifying my dialer. I got the main dialer screen about 90% completed. All of the numbers and CALL button graphics were written w/ a marker then scanned and shooped. Found teh background image somewheres around the internets. Also had to change the text color for the numbers at the top that show up as you key them in. Changed from white to gray, found in the CSS for the phone.
One spot i am still trying to figure out is the images that go on the VoiceMail and CallLog button were very small, like 32px wide. I found them listed in one of the CSS files and changed the width. It worked well for the Voicemail button, but the call log button did not take as you can see. There should be an arrow graphic i made there... Anyone have more experience with this? ![]() phone_2009-30-09_171611.jpg |
