I purchased a palm pre for myself last month and I am still learning how to use it As for setting ringtomes, I was able to download the songs to my phone and they are in the ringtone folder, but when I go to set one as a ringtone, it wont set it. I have followed the directions, but it only uses the defualt ringtone "pre" and will not change. Can you please help me?

What software do I need to do this??

How do I go about this?

What do I do first?
I'm sorry but why? Sprint auto sends calls to voicemail after 30 secs anyways

Do anyone know if in the next update, palm will have more alert tone choices?
I mean I'm so glad that with the new update we can put our own ringtones to our text messages but they didn't provide any alerts. Who wants to hear a full ringtone when a text message arrives... I know I dont.

They have tons of tones , but also a couple of really cool tools. You can upload an mp3 file and make a ring tone. The other really fun one, is you can make a text speech ring tone, by typing in some text, and picking a voice, a tone, welcome music, and background music, and it creates an instant mp3 file..
my sister and i are having a blast using the voicetone tool

I am always using tonzr for my ringtones. They are the best site for free ringtones and the site is very user friendly.

Hi all,

I can't believe this, I had found a great site for ringtones that someone mention here on Precentral (in the Pre area) and I never bookmarked it and today I have been clicking on all the links that users posted to see if I can't find it.

It was a great site and very easy. I am mostly looking for ringtones or mp3 versions of course that have speech. Things such like: 'Pickup the phone it's your mother calling' in a very Brooklyn accent!

That's the kind of stuff I am looking for.

So I will keep searching.

Rob
