My 'device info' is showing 2.2 gb of storage available on my Veer after a hard reset, (apps and data). /media/internal contains about 2 gb, and I added about another half gb up by long-pressing every directory in / and getting size info. Where is my other 2 gb? (btw, I did find a half gb in /dev/mapper/store-android by mounting it, left over from a previous Android installation, but didn't find much in any of the other files in /dev/mapper).

Android on veer is coming Here's the main thread. It's easy to install, looks great, and runs smooth, but long bugs/not working list.

Android on Veer - rooted, Play store, etc...
Here's my thread about rooting and getting play store.

Anyway, any ideas about my storage issue?

not really. do you get a different grand total if checking / ?

    here (pre3) /media/internal is 5725472 (/media/cryptofs shares it) (280mb free)
    138mb crypto-db
    572mb mojowhatsup

Long press info on every directory in / adds up to 3.5 gb. I seem to be missing almost half of my storage. Could /media be partitioned somehow? I remember reading in the Android-on-Veer thread that /media/internal is corrupted after installing, but that's all that was said. Any ideas out there? Thanks

... Sorry, I guess I'm not missing half - I forgot about the 2.2 gb still available. So I'm actually missing about 1 gb.

    Hello,

I have a similar problem on my Touchpad. I installed Android 4.4.4 onto it. Its a dual boot solution with WebOS. Android data is 24.8 GB, WebOS is 2.0 GB, Android system 700 MB, 200 MB Android cache. Together this is 32 GB... ;-)

    Kind regards

    Fred
