    if I wanted to create a frankenpre , would the esn on the pre+ have to be good also? Or does it not matter as long as the pre- that is being used is clean.

    your phone has to actually already be in service so yes it has to have a good esn

    I know my phone has to be good. That's a given. But the pre+ is what I was curious about.

    you have to have 2 phones to create a franken pre , the first phone has to be active the other does not matter because your putting the com board of the original phone in the new phones hardware there for your original esn is still being registered . does that help ?

    lol. thx , I actually had read it real quick a while back , but couldn't remember. never really gave much thought into making a frankenpre until april 1st came around and I got jacked by sprint.
