Excuse my lack of knowledge regarding "pushing" or "pulling" email. I use AOL. For battery life purposes, is it better to have the settings set to obtain emails as items arrive or at a longer interval? Thanks for any help.

I have it obtain email as it arrives which, by itself, doesn't seem to drain my battery too quickly. However, a lot really depends on what else is running in the background when you're not using it and what you do when you use it.

And it doesn't matter if it's AOL or not, you're simply using IMAP4 to connect to the email server.

In good network coverage, IMAP push should be better than syncing every 15 minutes. If the network is bad, it may have to reconnect to the server multiple times, which may be worse than syncing on a fixed interval.
