I also reinstalled after update one wierd thing when I uninstalled it before I flashed the speed only went down to 600mhz not 500mhz. Rebooted several times but thats where it stayed. Wierd. Anyhow went ahead and flashed reinstalled the patch and it works great. I can also confirm that this works just fine via Terminus which is how I ran both the uninstall and the install.

Installed 800mhz after update and only difference is I am running hotter. Not dangerously hotter just 5deg. My standard was 32, now it sits at 37.

If you update, do you lose your current text messages? I have to know if anyone has lost theirs -- I have texts from my ex-wife that I have to keep :-) So I have to make absolutely sure.

Can anyone verify that they have updated and still have their old strings of text messages?!?!

if your asking about webos update , yes you retain ur messages unless something happens in the middle of the update and you brick ur pre. other th en that nothing gets erased ... normally..

Update hadn't deleted the patch, so I reinstalled via command line. Running really well.

    Life moves (much) fast(er).

My battery seems to fair better as well. I'm just going to guess that with it working faster, it gets stuff done quicker and drops back down to idle mode quicker thus saving life. Whatever is really going on, I don't really care, it's just BETTER!

Do we have to send the 800MHz file in the command line first or just
    sh /var/home/root/800MHzOS14.sh install

    Thanks

All links are back up since many people need files for uninstalling
You have replied quickly to people on multiple threads for what seems like 3 or 4 days straight. I don't know when you sleep, but I hope everyone is properly rewarding you for the time and effort you have put into this. I will be hitting the donate button, that is for sure.
