You know, besides the fact that this overclock is awesome, I really hope that Palm is taking a look at these modifications to see how they can take advantage of them in the default kernel. Maybe not so much the overclock even, but any optimizations that they could possibly do.

    Hi,

I am not at home and wanted to know if I could install the file (I already downloaded it to the Pre's download folder and will move it to proper folder mentioned in installation instructions) via Terminus as my terminal to run the script?

Anyone else notice how much faster downloading files are...like with the Youtube Download Patch. Used to take forever to save or buffer files, not a problem anylonger. Wow!

others had this same problem... you could try looking through this thread. Depends on what is happening. If you're copy/pasting the command, make sure that it's not inserting any extra spaces...

Great patch so far. I am running the 800. Has anyone when streaming music had any random reboots of the phone?

in which cases does it work on 600 and in which on 800? also, is it as stable as the 800 patch?
It is marked stable cuz it is the based on the same code. It justs adds built in scaling from 600-800. So it sits on 600 most of the time unless you are using it, then it scales to 720 then to 800 depending on CPU load....then back down.

Just like Shadiavis08 suggested, which worked for me: type the command in linux commandline instead of copy n paste, because a space extra or less will screw it up..
