Just installed 720mhz, it is booting now... I can confirm on the pre plus that the phone did a full reboot on it's own and not a luna restart (it showed the little loading disc before the flashing palm logo, a luna reset does not do this.)

Still not getting the USB connection services to work after restarting unplugged and all.

EDIT: Restart computer as well, then it works fine. Thanks for the help, this is ridiculously fast.

Installed great, and yes, much, much, MUCH snappier. Great job team! I'm a lil concerned about the temp. Running idle at like 33...should i be concerned? To be honest IDK what an ok temp is. Any help?

    Thanks for your response.
So if something internal went wrong (processor failed or something) Would i be able to unpatch without them finding out any this patch was on it?

It's pretty unlikely they would look to see, however, always keep in mind that changing from factory may result in a loss of warranty.

VBA sounds work great now. Now let's get some MAME and PSX emulators.

    this isn't apple

if patching your device voided your warranty, it would be dumb for palm to have released the SDK publicly.

I'm confused is 720MHz and 800MHz changing the processor speed on the pre?

It is increasing the Speed the processor is set to run at.

    Unplug your phone from everything,
Restart your phone and your computer.

It should work fine after that.

Alright so the HTC EVO have a 1GHz Snapdragon Processor which is why its faster and the Pre only have an 500 MHZ processor is I'm correct?
